Welcome

The inclusive playground was part of the club's ongoing development of “Old Fair Park” in Fredericksburg, Texas.  Once the Basketball Pavilion was completed, the club realized there was ample space left at the park to develop a nice playground area.  This would replace the current playground area, which was old, and becoming dangerous. The club was presented with a wonderful concept by "Kraftsman Play” that incorporated traditional play equipment, but also new innovative play areas.  Inclusive swings were incorporated into the swing set, and also an inclusive “orbit” play feature was added. Funding was secured from a few generous community philanthropists, and construction began in the Fall of 2020.  The Playground was opened for play in the Spring of 2021.
